Confessions of a (Highly Productive) iPhone Addict: UPDATE

Filed under: Uncategorized — Maura Thomas @ 11:57 am

Since I wrote this post, I’ve gotten an overwhelming response from people who said they found it helpful.  And now that I’ve had my iPhone for even longer, and upgraded to the 3G, I use it even more than I did before.  And if you read that post, you know it was a lot then.  I thought I’d share some of the new things I’ve learned.

Please read the rest of this post at the new home of this blog.  Thanks for visiting!

  2. OmniFocus has become a must have as far as I’m concerned. Also need to mac desktop version for the full power. It’s made it’s way into the bar at the bottom of the screen.

I have yet to find anyone I can actually “bump” with, but beamME has been great for sharing my contact info.

    • Thanks Chris! I will definitely check out beamME and I know what you’re saying about Bump, but I think it’s been getting better. I have not made the switch from Mac Native tools (iCal, AppleMail & AddressBook) yet but I might not be far away.

  3. Thanks for the tips! As a new iPhone user, I find it much easier to get suggestions from others than try to surf through the thousands of apps out there. My sister-in-law introduced me to “TouchCloset.” I haven’t bought it yet, but apparently you can take photos of the clothes in your closet, then flip through them like album covers to make outfits. Great for planning what to pack for a trip or if you’re out shopping and need to remember what color you’re trying to match. My husband says I should get it so I’ll stop complaining that I don’t have any clothes.
